Fire Truck Cake

This fire truck cake was made for a little boy's third birthday.  It is a yellow cake with red, white, yellow, blue, gray, and black buttercream icing. My favorite parts of this cake are the splashed puddle and the engine number being the little boy's age.  Fire trucks are just so much fun because the icing colors are so bold! The final cost of this cake was:
Icing: $3.55 x 2.5 = $8.88
Cake: $2.81
Wrapping: $4.88
Labor: 7.50 x 2.75 = $20.63
Total: $37.20

Peanut Butter Icing Cookie Cake

My husband loves cookie cakes, so for his birthday every year he gets one.  This cookie cake was decorated with his two favorite types of icing: chocolate and peanut butter buttercream.  Needless to say the cake didn't last long.  If you are interested in the cost of this cookie cake, please email me.

Strawberry Cake

This 8" round yellow cake was made for my mother-in-law's birthday.  She loves all things strawberry, so it is layered with strawberry jelly and decorated with strawberry buttercream icing. If you are interested in the cost of this cake, please email me.

Mini Chocolate Cupcakes

These yellow mini cupcakes were made for my son's 5th birthday party at school.  They are decorated with his favorite, chocolate buttercream icing.  If you are interested in the cost of these cupcakes, please email me.

Pirate Birthday Cake

My son turned 5 this year with a pirate themed birthday party, so I of course had to make a pirate ship cake!  It was a 3D pirate ship made from yellow cake and decorated with chocolate, yellow, red, black, blue, and green buttercream icing.  The really special parts about this cake were the details.  I tried to make the ship look wooden, I included tick-tock crock following the ship, found plastic pirates to board the ship, made the plank from a Hershey bar, and the main mast is a pretzel with a pirate flag.  It was a pretty special cake.  If you are interested in the cost of this cake, please email me.

Purple Flower Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was made for my neighbor.  It was the first wedding cake I ever made and it turned out amazing.  Absolutely breathtaking.  I hear it tasted good too!  It was a two layer lemon cake with raspberry icing piped into each layer and decorated with white buttercream icing.  The color looks yellow, but that is the color of  the picture due to lighting. The layers were separated with plastic plates to provide a stable base for the columns.  The florist did the flowers thank goodness because I am hopeless with flower arrangements.  The final cost of this cake was:

Icing: $3.55 x 5= $17.75
Cake: $2.81 x 6= $16.86
Jelly: $3
Supplies (boards, tiers): $23.48
Wrapping: $4.88
Labor: 7.50 x 5 = $37.50
Total: $103.47

Race Car Track

This yellow sheet cake was made for a little boy's second birthday who loves cars.  It is decorated with green, white, orange, yellow, and black buttercream icing to look like a race track with orange cones, start, and finish lines.  The parents brought toy cars to sit on the track.  The final cost of this cake was:

Icing: $3.55 x 2.5 = $8.88  (1 green, 1 black, .5 orange/yellow/white)
Cake: $2.81 x 2 = $5.62
Wrapping: $4.88
Labor: $7.50 x 2.5 = $18.75
Final Cost: $38.13
