Baby Shower Cupcakes

These 24 yellow cake cupcakes were made for a local baby shower and decorated with yellow, white, and raspberry buttercream icing.  The icing coordinated colors with the foils except for the white icing which decorated a cupcake wrapped in a foil that looked like water colors. The final price of these cupcakes was:

Icing: $3.55 x 2 = $7.10
Cake: $2.81
Foils: $2
Labor: $7.50 x 1.75 = $13.13
Final Price: $25.04

Captain America Shield Cake

This cake was made for a little boy's 9th birthday who loves Captain America.  It was a yellow 9" round cake decorated red, white, and blue buttercream icing.  It was not easy to smooth the icing out without blending the colors, but I think it turned out pretty good! The final price of this cake was:

Icing: $3.55 x 1.5 = $5.33
Cake: $2.81
Wrapping: $4.88
Labor: $7.50 x 2.5 = $18.75
Final Price: $31.77

2016 Preschool Graduation Kiddo Cupcakes

I made these cupcakes for my son’s preschool graduation and moving up ceremony.  This way every child got their own cupcake!  They are all yellow cake and they are decorated with peach, chocolate, blue, green, red, gray, raspberry, yellow, purple, and black buttercream icing.  This year I added eyebrows, and ears for personality.  I also included hair bows or headbands depending on the little girl, and also to tell them apart because so many of the little girls had similar features!  My favorite part about these cupcakes is they celebrate how each child is unique and special even when represented in cake!  Please contact me for pricing information.

2016 Preschool Graduation Cake

This cake was made for a local preschool graduation ceremony.  It is two 9x13 cakes stuck together to make a sheet cake.  This way half of the cake could be yellow cake, and half could be chocolate cake.  I decorated the cake with white and navy buttercream icing. The cost of this cake is

Icing: $3.55 x 1.5 = $5.33
Yellow and Chocolate Cake: $2.81 x 2 = $5.62
Wrapping: $4.88
Labor: $7.50 x 2 = $15
Final Cost: $30.83

Wedding Shower Cake

I don't often get to make girly cakes, but I do so love it when I get to!  This 9x13" yellow wedding shower cake was decorated with white, mint green, and raspberry buttercream icing.  I loved writing in cursive and making the little roses.  The final price of this cake was:

Icing: $3.55 x 1.5 = $5.33
Cake: $2.81
Wrapping: $4.88
Labor: $7.50 x 2.5 = $18.75

Baseball Diamond Cakes, Baseball Cake, and Cupcakes

These goodies were made for two little boy's 6th birthday party who love baseball!  I made a 9" round yellow cake baseball decorated with white and red buttercream icing, and a 9" square yellow cake baseball diamond with green, white, and chocolate buttercream icing. I also made 24 baseball cupcakes and 24 baseball diamond cupcakes to match the cakes.  It was a huge order, but they turned out beautifully I think.  The final price of these goodies was:
Icing: $3.55 x 3.5 = $12.43
Cake: $2.81 x 4 = $11.24
Foils: $4
Wrapping: $4.88 x 2 = $9.76

Final Price: $89.93

Gotham City Cake

This cake was made for a little boy's 7th birthday who loves Batman.  I have made at least three different types of Batman cakes and cupcakes for this little man, so this year I had to do something different. I always research my superhero cakes to get as authentic as possible, so I really struggled with the bat symbol on this cake.  People do not like to eat a lot of black icing, so I made the sky as dark blue as possible to show late evening right before the sky turns black.  I also learned Adam West was able to make the bat symbol during the day time, so ultimately I was ok.  This 9x13" yellow cake was decorated with yellow, navy, gray, and black buttercream icing. The final price of this cake was:

Icing: $3.55 x 1.25 = $4.44
Cake: $2.81
Wrapping: $4.88
Labor: $7.50 x 3 = $22.50
Final Price: $34.63

Hokie Retirement Cake

This cake was made for a lady retiring from Virginia Tech, so naturally this yellow sheet cake was decorated with orange, maroon, and white buttercream icing.  I think it ended up fun and a little different from a typical retirement cake.  The final price of this cake was:

Icing: $3.55 x 3.5 = $12.43
Cake: $2.81 x 2 = $5.62
Wrapping: $4.88
Labor: $7.50 x 3 = $22.50
Final Price: $45.43

March Birthday Cake

With the exception of my nephew, all of my family member's birthdays reside in either March or November, so we celebrate the March birthdays sometime in March and the November ones at Thanksgiving.  This two layer yellow cake was decorated with white, peanut butter, and chocolate buttercream icing.  It was a big hit, but way too much cake for all of us!  Unfortunately, whatever I make has to be large to fit five names on it! If you are interested in the cost of this cake, please email me.

Easter Big Cookie

We arrived back from Mass on Easter morning to begin cooking dinner when my son asked where the Easter big cookie was.  There was no Easter big cookie, nor was there a plan to make one.  When I told him this, his response was, "But momma, you're the cake lady."  He had me there.  Fortunately, it didn't take me long to whip up something small, though I must say my instant bunny drawing skills need practice. This big cookie is decorated with blue, orange, green, white, and raspberry buttercream icing (the colors my son requested).  If you are interested in the cost of this cookie cake, please email me.
