I made these cupcakes for a little boy's school Valentine's Day party. They are yellow cake with red, pink, and white buttercream icing. I matched the foil to the main icing color except for the white icing for which I used a red and white checked foil. I also made sure every cupcake was decorated with red, pink, and white icing.
