Pumpkin Cake



Fall has arrived and with it all the wonderful tastes and smells of fall cooking including PUMPKIN!  This was my first attempt at a two layer pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing, and it was melt in your mouth good.  I suggest eating it warm with vanilla ice cream and apple cider.

The final cost of this cake was:
Cake with icing: $7.38
Wrapping and Plating: $4.88
Labor: $6.00 per hour x 1.25 hours = $7.50
Total: $19.76
