I made this cake for a friend who loves chocolate and
raspberries. It is two layer 8"
round chocolate cake with raspberry jelly layered in the middle. The icing is raspberry buttercream. I do not usually comment on my personal
tastes on this blog, but this raspberry buttercream icing is amazing. The final
cost of this cake was:
Icing: $3.55
Cake: $2.81
Jelly: $2.30
Wrapping: $4.88
Labor: $7.50 x 2 = $15
Total: $28.54
